Rainbows fill the screen and clover leaves falls from above.
It’s all ever so pretty if we hadn’t seen it before. In fact, and this is not something we’ve said often, NextGen gaming do the theme and gameplay just a little bit more exciting in their Irish Eyes and Irish Eyes 2 mobile slots. The reels and wins just come more frequent and with more irish whimsy, than in Irish Luck slot by Playtech, which feels like a re-skinning of the slot Desert Treasures or Santa’s Surprise.
Free spins are the only bonus feature, which is the one redeeming aspect of this mobile slot. Most of the time you’ll probably walk away with a decent 10x to 30x your bet, but every once in a while you’ll hit an incredible multiplier of up to 15x which will make you gasp at the results. This however is by far the exception rather than the rule and the free spins don’t come often enough to break the tedium of the main game.
The lack of fun is no doubt not helped by the fact that we found this game to be a temperamental Android slot, lacking the reliability that is usually so common with Playtech slots. Even on iPads and iPhone casinos the bottom of the screen sometimes cuts off, making it impossible to see your balance.
So all in all, Irish Luck mobile slot is nice with a predictable if pretty theme, but it’s been done far better elsewhere.
