So far this is the weakest link of the Spin16 slots released by Genii. It’s not helped by the fact that the Horn of Plenty slot theme is fairly generic.
And that’s ok. We can appreciate a simple fruit machine when we need to. Fruit Shop Touch is nothing special to look at, but brilliant fun.
The point here, is to make them fun. And the Horn of Plenty slot game suffers more than it’s sisters and brothers, because whilst Age of Spartans was at least pretty to look at, and Big Game has a decent amount worth winning, this one has neither.
The Spin16 concept explained
Basically, these casino slots were created to be perfect for mobile. It’s a very tactile video slot, that works beautifully whether on small iPhone screens or tablets.
You can swipe in any direction, and on any reel, giving you a total of 16 different ways to spin. That’s ‘your’ pick, represented by a yellow arrow.
Once the spin is done, the house picks a reel and direction (via green arrow), which then gives you multipliers. If it picks the same reel and direction as you, you get 10x multiplier on whatever win is on screen, but mostly you’ll get nothing to 3x multiplier.
What’s frustrating is that the green arrows come along, even if you don’t have any wins on these 50 paylines. with a “Whoops! Look what you could have won! But didn’t!”
Not sure this Horn of Plenty slot should have an extra reminder that you’re not winning much of anything, seeing as the top win here is about 35 times your bet.

Once you get over the gimmick of being able to spin in 16 directions, you are left with a simple fruity that has one wild symbol, and two scatters.
At this point we’d rather play on something classic like Fruit Machine by mFortune. At least it’s not pretending to be interesting and has bigger wins.

Horn of Plenty Bonus Features
Wild: The horn itself is wild and replaces all other symbols.
The 2 Scatters: The melon and the lemon are the scatter symbol. They pay regardless of where they are on the screen.
Spin 16: Spin any vertical reel up or down, and any horizontal reel left or right. A yellow arrow will then show up, pointing in the direction of the reel you spun.
A green arrow will then spin, and depending on where it lands, gives you:
