How To Play Lost Relics Mobile Slot
Explore ancient ruins and uncover mysteries and wins in this Lost Relics mobile slot by NetEntertainment.
A 5 reel 5-row video slot with Cluster Pays, this is not your usual NetEnt game. But that’s no bad thing as this Lost Relics slot tries to keep things interesting by never quite letting you know what wins are hiding beneath the reels.
Any time 6 or more symbols are touching horizontally or vertically, you’ll get a win. Hiding beneath these wins can be any combination of extra coin wins, extra wilds or extra scatters.
It gives a whole new meaning to digging for treasure and works well with the theme. Certainly adds excitement from the cluster pays in The Legend of Shangri-La.
An adventure slot like so many others
And whilst we have to applaud the new mechanics, we were a little disappointed with the theme. Not because it’s not well done, but it lacks imagination.
You’ve got relic like symbols on the reels, an ancient temple which could be part of any culture, and a ‘Lara Croft’ style character set somewhere at the turn of the century (based on the newspaper reels).
It’s ok, and it’s good enough, but we’ve seen NetEnt do so much better, even with sequels like Blood Suckers 2 slot.
The real Lost Relics slot wins are in the free spins
3 scatters activates 10 free spins. Which happens relatively often – maybe every 50 spins or so. Certainly more than in Vikings Go To Hell slot, released on the same day.
But, that’s not to say you’ll win much, as you’ll need to uncover the treasure chest underneath the reels (by getting cluster wins) to ‘upgrade’ your game.
Here you’ll get extra free spins, and sticky wilds, and the more chests you uncover, the bigger the potential prizes.
A fun Cluster pays game that improves on the rest
Don’t get us wrong, when it comes to grid slots, we still prefer the Play’n GO fares like Viking Runecraft or Gemix games.
But you know what? We had far more fun playing on this relic hunter themed video slot than we thought we would.
Probably because of those random features during the base game, especially the wilds, which help to top up your wallet long enough to let you catch a few free spin bonus rounds.
That said, don’t think you’ll walk away with that much treasure – getting 100x your bet is hard work. But sometimes a fun adventure doesn’t always have to end with gold.

Lost Relics Bonus Features
Cluster Pays: 6 or more symbols touching either horizontally or vertically will trigger a win. No paylines, just clusters of symbols. The more symbols, the bigger the win.
Random Base Game Features: After a win, the tiles the symbols are resting will break. Sometimes these reveal hidden treasure which triggers:
- Instant coin wins between 2x and 30x your bet
- 3 extra wilds added to the screen, and more can be added with further wins, up to a maximum of 15 wilds.
- Extra scatter symbols may appear, triggering the free spins.
Scatters and Free Spins: 3 scatter symbols collected in the base game will trigger 10 free spins.
A hidden chest is always hidden beneath the reels, and this time, when you get a win, the tiles don't rebuild on the next spin.
The object (other than to get a win) is to reveal the hidden chest and trigger a combination of:
- Extra free spins: usually 2 to 4 extra spins
- Sticky wilds: they remain in place until the end of the Lost Relic bonus games.
- Coin win of 1x to 30x your bet.
Once you've uncovered a chest, the tiles are replaced and you need to get more wins to uncover more chests.
There are 3 types of chests; small, medium and large. The larger the chest, the bigger the prizes inside.
The first two chests you uncover will always be either small or medium, but from the third chest, you get large. That said, uncovering more than 2 chests in one bonus game won't happen often.
