Scatters: The Book symbols are the scatter symbol. Only 1 will affect the award board and you can land 5 books anywhere on the reels at a maximum. A single book can reveal up to 3 stars or a +1 multiplier to add to the award boards. It does not have a payout.

Award Boards: Each symbol, except the book, has a star meter on the left of the screen. Each of the symbols will have the possibility of increasing its star rating or its multiplier rating, by landing just a single book symbol. These come into play during the free spins.
