The free spins are nice but the stacked wilds are your best friend
With the Multiway Xtra win you get a bigger multiplier for the more symbols shows up on the reels. So you can imagine that stacked wilds (many of the symbols also come stacked) helps. We benefited from a couple of 10x our win, which made us breath a little easier. Then out of nowhere we got a couple of big wins with 30x our bet. Followed closely by 40x our bet win.
At this point, it brought us back from the brink of despair to about 30% up on our starting budget. We soldiered on, and eventually, hit the free spins game. We usually get about 16 to 24 free spins, and have re-triggered these in the past, so they are more than generous.

Siberian Storm Bonus Features
Wilds: The full sized Siberian tiger with the 'Wild' written across it is the wild symbol (shocker) and replaces all other symbols except scatters and the tawny tiger eye.
Scatters: The jewels with 'scatter' written across is, yes, the scatter symbol. 3 anywhere on the 5 reels will pay out 2 times your total bet, 4 will pay 10 times and 5 will pay 50x times.
Multi-way Xtra Wins: This game pays both ways and for any matching symbols in any position in three or more adjacent columns. If you get more than one matching symbol in the same column, it multiplies the win. This is very effective in a game where most of the symbols come stacked, including the wild.
So, for example, say you get four of a kind red tiger. That's 75 coins. However, on reel 1 you get 1 tiger, on reel two you get 2 tigers, on reel 3 you get 3 tigers and on reel four you get 1 tiger.
This is a four of a kind win, but you multiply your results with the number of tigers to get the final multiplier. So 1 x 2 x 3 x 1 = 6. That's a 6x multiplier on your 75 coins win.
Free Spins: You'll need to get 5 tigers eyes in any position on 5 consecutive reels to trigger 8 free spins. If more than one combination per spin awards free spins, the sum of the spins for all the winning combinations if awarded at once.
