How To Play Spinal Tap Mobile Slot
This is the Spinal Tap slot! It’s loud, it’s brash and it’s got 243 ways to wins. What’s not to love?
We are going to admit to knowing little to nothing about Spinal Tap the parody band before we opened up this Blueprint Gaming slot, and we still loved it.
This is pure glam rock n roll, with VIP passes, vinyl records, skulls and the band members David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel and Derek Smalls.
You don’t need to know much more other than this is a cross between the games Kiss and the Guns n Roses slot themes. Just enjoy the music and crank the volume up to 11.
No seriously, you want to crank the volume up to 11
Randomly the volume will go up and you get to spin a vinyl record which will give you an extra bonus feature on reels that increase from 243 to 2,187 ways to win.
You can also trigger this ‘Rock Mode’ feature by paying 50 times your bet, but honestly, we never felt we needed to.
This Spinal Tab mobile slot has bonus games aplenty, and the rock mode triggers frequently enough that you don’t need to pay.
Granted, the RTP of the game increases from 96.92% to 97.02%, but it’s not enough to warrant paying extra as you rarely get more than 20x your bet.
Spinal Tap online slot hides 7 bonus games
And this right here is the core of this Blueprint game and why we gave this Spinal Tap slot review 5 stars.
You click records to reveal prizes – and you can upgrade as you go along. The aim is to get to the world tour because that’s where this casino game hides it’s 10,000 times your bet max win.
It’s a mega click me game that makes you travel the world to gain cash prizes, and we’ve rarely walked away with less than 100 times our bet – usually more. But it’s also very rare to trigger, far rarer than similar features in games like Rainbow Riches or Red Riding Hood.
More likely, with a little luck, you’ll trigger one of the three free spins bonuses, all of which give you decent wins; mostly 20x to 50x your bet, but much more is available.
A complicated video slot with complicated features
This video slot probably isn’t great if you’re a beginner, but then again, what a rocking way to get introduced to everything a digital slot can provide.
And we mean everything; expanding reels, sticky wilds, wild reels, free spins, scatters, click me bonus, and so much more to discover.
If you prefer your slots a little simpler then maybe the Amazing Aztecs slot is more for you.
Beware, this is a high variance game, and even though it pays well, and is massively entertaining, it can eat your cash faster than you might notice.
So keep an eye on your budget and buy yourself a ticket to one of the best rock slots around.

Spinal Tap Bonus Features
Wilds: The wild symbol can replace all other symbols on this 5 reel slot to create a win. It cannot replace the bonus symbol.
Rock Mode: This either triggers randomly, or you can pay 50 times your bet to trigger this feature.
The reels will expand by 2, giving you 2,187 ways to win. But before you take your spin, you first spin a vinyl record.
The inner reels give you a number between 1 and 5. The outer reel can give you:
- Guitar Wilds: Extra number of wild reels
- Wild Sparks: Extra number of wild symbols added
- Rock 'n' Roll-spin: Extra number of spins with sticky winning symbols.
- Bonus Odyssey: Extra number of bonus scatter symbols are added to each reel.
Triggering and Winning the Bonus Games: 3 or more skull symbols will trigger a click me game with 7 possible Spinal Tap bonus games.
The lower on the ladder the bonus game is, the fewer the wins. You can start off with an advantage if you get more than three scatters, but it's unlikely:
- 3 bonus symbols: You can trigger any 7 features.
- 4 bonus symbols: The Double plates are eliminated.
- 5 bonus symbols: Double Platinum and No Hazard bonus eliminated.
- 6 bonus symbols: Double Platinum, No Danger and Disc Contract bonus eliminated.
However, we are going to assume you got just 3 scatters because that will be 80% of the time.
You will then pick from vinyl records and reveal symbols which will give you one of the 7 bonus.
Once you win a bonus, you can then choose to take it or gamble it to get a better bonus or a cash prize.
Gambling works more often than not, and it's usually worthwhile trying to catch those free spins bonuses.
What are the bonus games you can win: This feels like it needs to sit in its own section because there are 7 of them, not unlike the Andy Capp slot game, but better.
But to start with the worst up to the best paying of them:
- Double Platinum Bonus: Spin a wheel and pick one of the band members to win cash, multiplier, or an upgrade in bonus features.
- No Danger Bonus: Choose from guitar boxes to get cash values, or upgrade cash values.
- Record Deal Bonus: A Deal or No Deal type game where you pick vinyl records which eliminates cash prizes or bonus features. At the end of each round of picks, the dealer will give you an amount which you can either take or keep picking to win a better deal.
- Stairway to Hell Free Spins: 11 free spins with a random multiplier from 2x to 10x your win. You also get a special scatter symbol that adds a free spins, and the reels can expand and give you an extra 2 reels.
- Encore Free Spins: You get 11 free spins where all the wilds are collected and on the last spin you get 2,187 ways slot with all those wilds added to the reels.
- Stone Henge free spins: You play 11 free spins on a 7 reel slot with a special wild zone pattern on the middle reels. Any wilds that land in the wild zone will remain sticky till the end of the 11 rounds.
- The World Tour Bonus: You get to a world map showing Europe, USA and Japan - you want to progress through each and end in the Big Money concert in Japan. It's a simple click me game which you spin a wheel and moves spaces for bigger and bigger cash prizes.
Surprisingly we've had good results with the Stairway to Hell free spins, and obviously the World Tour Bonus if you can get it.
