Online it fares slightly better as you get the iconic cuboid shapes floating down the top of the screen as you spin 5 reels and 3 rows with 243 ways to win paylines.
More importantly, those shapes randomly drop onto your reels, giving you a whole cluster of high paying symbols and sometimes even expanding the reels.

What’s right? The base game is slow, and the wins minimal. You need a 5 of a kind on the two highest paid symbols to get your bet back, or 3x your bet.
Anything less than a 5 of a kind win is just token gestures that rarely covers your gameplay.
The shapes that drop from above are rarely useful to create wins, at best they help a little, at worst they are a distraction of the money you’re spending.
The free spins and jackpots are decent
During the free games, the rows expand to cover the whole portrait of this Tetris Jackpot game, much like in Mighty Black Knight by WMS.
Every time you get a win, a silhouete of those cuboids drops on screen and someone really, really, really bad at Tetris starts playing.

Granted, if you manage to wake up the hypothetical player two, and get the game to line up rows, you get decent cash prize and even that jackpot.
But it never feels like the wins are anywhere near close enough to care – the Thundercats slot is a far better portrait 8 row mobile game.

Tetrimino Feature: At any one point, any of 7 Tetris figures might drop from the sky and land either inside the 5x3 reels, or above them.
