There’s nothing wholly wrong with this Triple Dragons mobile slot theme; you get the dragon, golden coins, drums, and lotus flowers all set against reels of gold and red. It’s fine, it’s just not exciting.
A classic 3 reel slot game but with stacked wilds
Technically, all the symbols in Triple Dragons come stacked, but you really notice the dragons for two reasons:
- They are the wild symbol and can be used to create wins on all 5 paylines
- They trigger the spin till you win re-spin bonus
That second point sounds more exciting than it is, namely because what it means is that a whole stack of wilds on a reel will hold, and the other two reels will re-spin… until you get a single win.
It’s nice and adds a little drama, but strangely doesn’t bring you huge wins.
For a volatile slot, you can only win 300 times your bet
According to Pragmatic Play game studios, the top win here is around 300 times your bet.
Which wouldn’t be a bad thing if this was a low variance quit-hit game. But it’s not. It’s meant to be high variance, meaning that top win should be hard to reach.
The thing is, this didn’t feel like we were playing a particularly dangerous game. So either it was mislabelled or we had a lucky run, but we didn’t win much or lose much… making us not think much of this Triple Dragons slot game.
Ultimately that’s no bad thing, but we certainly got more thrills playing on the Vegas Diamonds slot game by Elk, which has bigger wins but is also far more dangerous than these tame little lizards.
